GETKEYS PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

Getkeys values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including any data obtained through integrations with third-party services like Google and Microsoft.

2. Information We Collect

  • Basic Profile Information: Name, email address, and phone number — collected from all users.
  • Usage Data: Information on how you interact with our platform.
  • Calendar Data (Developers Only): If you are a service provider (developer) and choose to connect your calendar (Google or Microsoft), we may access calendar metadata (e.g., availability and events) to support scheduling and booking features.
  • We do not collect or store any payment information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our services.
  • Facilitate communication and scheduling between users and developers.
  • Allow developers to sync calendar availability and manage bookings.
  • Send important updates or service-related messages.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Use of Third-Party Calendar Data (Developers Only):

If you authorize Getkeys to access your calendar from Google or Microsoft:

  • We use calendar data only to read and manage events relevant to availability and booking.
  • We do not use calendar data for advertising or any unrelated purpose.
  • We do not share or sell your calendar data.
  • Our use of calendar APIs complies with the respective platform's policies, including: Google API Services User Data Policy and Microsoft's API and user data policies.

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share information with:

  • Other users, to facilitate bookings (e.g., consumers seeing developer availability).
  • Third-party service providers, to support essential platform functionality.
  • Legal authorities, when required by law.

We never sell user data. Calendar data is only used as necessary to provide scheduling functionality for service providers.

AI assistants you connect

If you connect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to your Getkeys account, Getkeys sends that assistant the information it asks for on your behalf: the contents of your property reports, your report credit balance and, for estate agents, your collections and buyer activity (never buyers' email addresses or phone numbers). The assistant's provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) processes this under its own privacy policy. Getkeys keeps a record of which assistants you've connected and when they last accessed your account. You can disconnect an assistant at any time from Connect your AI in your account menu, which stops all further access immediately.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no online system is completely secure.

6. Your Data Protection Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we store about you.
  • Request corrections or deletion of your data.
  • Object to certain uses of your data.
  • Revoke access to your connected calendars or accounts via the respective platform's settings: Google Account Permissions and Microsoft Account Privacy Settings.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to enhance your experience on the platform. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Getkeys is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of any changes.
